Australian School Library Association (ASLA)
This body is the national authority, the peak forum in the field of teacher librarianship and school library resource services. Its aim is to maximise opportunities for students to obtain independent lifelong learning and decision making skills.

Promoting children’s literature in Australia, specialising in exhibitions and sales of original book illustrations, limited edition prints and signed picture books. Website includes blog and news.
Carol Hurst’s Children’s Literature Site
A collection of reviews of books for kids and ideas for classroom use. Includes collections of books about particular subjects, curriculum areas, themes, and professional topics.

One of North America’s leading research centres in the field of children’s literature.
The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art
