Patricia Mullins was born in Melbourne in 1952. She attended Deepdene Primary School and Methodist Ladies College where she won prizes for Art.* She undertook a Diploma course in Graphic Design at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and a Fellowship in Illustration between 1969 and 1974.
Patricia illustrated The Happy Bush by Heather Larsen in 1972. She had very successful collaborations with Letitia Parr, Christobel Mattingley, Mem Fox and Gail Jorgenson. She has won many awards from around the world and was presented with the Dromkeen Medal in 2012.
